Join us for a celebration of the life of Diane Rath. To honor her warmth, transcendent spirit, love of teaching and joy of creating beautiful works of art, we are recreating her dynamic Harvest Celebration workshop.

We will build a huge, fall harvest still life on our large model stand and participants will "paint in the round". Artists will paint the harvest from 9 am to 12 pm. The harvest painting will continue from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Clayton J. Beck III, Michael Van Zeyl and Ed Wentz will conduct demonstrations. Cathy Barry, Helen Oh, Larry Paulsen and Mary Qian will paint and offer painting critiques. Refreshments and camaraderie will be available throughout the day.

As a general admission participant, you can visit the harvest workshop, watch the demos and join us during the lunch hour from 12 pm to 1 pm. If you can't attend and would like to donate to the scholarship fund, this is a great option.

All proceeds will go towards the Diane K. Rath Scholarship, a scholarship fund for financially challenged, deserving students. Her friends know that Diane undertook tremendous personal and financial challenges to pursue her creative drive. We hope to help similar individuals through her scholarship.

We hope you will attend. We will try our best at accommodate all. Painting spots are limited, but the chance to celebrate the sheer joy that was Diane is not.
