PREREQUISITE: MUST HAVE CURRENT STATE OR NREMT EMT CERTIFICATION ON FIRST DAY OF CLASS

This is an "At Your Own Pace" course and follows DOT National Curriculum. At the end of this course you will be able to perform both the cognitive and psychomotor skills required to take the National Registry computer based test in order to obtain your AEMT certification.

Each chapter will have required quizzes, case studies, tests and discussion threads that each student must participate in. This is an online web based course, therefore you must have a computer and reliable internet access. You must also have access to a printer. You will be required to participate in hands on skills labs 1-2 times per month and two, 12hr clinical rotations for successful completion of the course.

We will have lab dates available during the month, for students to participate in for the required labs. At the end of the course you will be required to take the National Registry Psychomotor Test. The National Registry Psychomotor Test is of the skills you learned and practiced during the lab skills days.

Make sure you include a valid email and phone numbers at the time of registration, as we use these frequently for communication with our students.

  • Please find below a list of items that you will need to bring with you on orientation day, if you don't have everything by the first day, you can still start class, however, everything must be turned in by the third week of class.

    1. Valid driver’s license or picture ID
    2. Diploma or GED (High School or College Transcripts can be substituted)
    3. Payment for class. We accept cash, credit and debit cards. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.
    4. Copy of current 2 step TB skin test, or blood serum test.
    5. Copy of Childhood Immunizations, including Hep B
    6. State wide or higher background check: mystudentcheck.com
    7. 10 Panel drug screen: E7 Health or American Toxicology (ATI)
    8. Current AHA BLS CPR Certification
    9. Current National Registry or State EMT Certification

  • All Homework, Quizzes and Assignments are done online through Brady/Pearson MyLab program. Student must have regular access to a laptop or desk top computer & printer. You must also have secure internet access.


  • Cancellation Policy:
  • You may cancel your registration at any time prior to the first day of class and receive a refund minus the non-refundable $158.00 fee per NRS. Once class has begun, refunds are calculated based on number of days attended including the non-refundable amount of $158.00 per NRS. Refunds take up to 2 weeks to process.
