Explore chalk pastel and gouache painting. Each medium is vivid, opaque and luscious on its own or combined. Materials and techniques will be covered while students learn about the masters. There will be ongoing critiques and demonstrations. Students may work from life or their own photographs. Still life, portraits, figures and landscapes are all appropriate subjects. All levels are welcome.
