We will look for beauty and meaning in the arrangements of things in our world and in works of art. From focusing on a singular flower, shell or other object, we will get more complex and develop our drawing and painting skills. Working from photos and your own arrangements, we will explore symbolism, composition, form and color in our drawings and paintings. First using graphite, charcoal and color drawing media, we will then move to painting in watercolor, acrylic or oil. A suggested supply list is given before the first class.
