Violin Class for Grades 2–5

Course Title: Young Violinists: Beginning Strings
Grade Level: 2nd to 5th Grade
Level: Beginner – No experience required
Weekly 60-minute sessions

This fun and engaging class introduces young students to the world of violin through hands-on learning, movement, and music games. Students will explore the basics of violin technique, rhythm, and note reading while developing listening skills, coordination, and a love for music.

What Students Will Learn:

• Parts of the violin and how to care for it

• Proper playing posture and bow hold

• Simple rhythms and musical patterns

• Beginning finger positions and notes

• Playing easy songs and melodies

• Working as a group and following a conductor
