Ages: Middle School & Up (Ages 11+)
Level: Beginner – No prior experience required

Course Overview:
This class is designed for older beginners who are ready to explore the expressive world of the violin. Whether you're in middle school, high school, or just starting later in life, this course provides a welcoming and structured introduction to one of the most beautiful instruments in the world.

What You’ll Learn:

• Parts of the violin and how to care for it

• Proper posture, bow hold, and playing technique

• Tuning and basic instrument maintenance

• Reading music and simple rhythms

• Playing open strings, basic finger placement, and first-position notes

• Performing simple melodies and beginning ensemble pieces
