Youth Orchestra Intensive

This one-week program is designed for string musicians preparing to audition for selective local youth orchestras such as the Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras, Norwalk Youth Symphony, and Young Artists Philharmonic. Students receive ensemble training, sectionals, and audition preparation emphasizing orchestral technique, sight-reading, and musical leadership. They also benefit from guest speakers who share insights on practice strategies, auditions, and life as a young musician. This intensive is ideal for motivated students looking to strengthen their playing, gain confidence in an audition setting, and take the next step in their orchestral journey.
