Class #679: Figure Sculpture

No experience is necessary to participate in these fundamental classes, only a desire to have fun working with clay in a figurative format. We will cover a basic introduction for modeling the human form in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Instruction will cover introductory material for beginning students. Students will focus on observational skills, proportion, anatomy, simple construction, and expressive composition, for the successful execution of a 1/3 life sized sculpture.
- No class on September 7 (Labor Day).
- $60 supply fee covers, clay, model, use of tools and firing fee, just bring yourself! Payable to instructor.
- Please register in advance, class limit 10.
- This class meets in our first floor studio in the coach house.
- The supplies are provided by the instructor.

Audry Cramblit is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art and has been teaching sculpture at the Palette and Chisel since 2006. She continues to refine and enhance her skills through study in Paris, France, Florence, Italy and multiple national workshops. Audry’s work is collected across the United States and abroad. She is honored to have received many awards for her unique collections and is represented in her hometown of Chicago by Jackson Junge Gallery.
