Class #160: Watercolor: From Watercolor to Monoprint with Helen Oh

Session | This program is completed

Your artistic journey starts with fundamentals of watercolor painting: the art of expressing nuanced form through both transparent and opaque techniques. Whether working from your own photographs, found images, or directly from still life, you’ll develop a keen eye for detail and compositions.

As the course progresses, you’ll explore the innovative world of monoprinting, which allows the transfer of a fully rendered watercolor painting onto paper, creating a one-of-a-kind print.

Whether you’re a newcomer to watercolor, seeking to broaden your artistic horizons, or aiming to refine your existing skills, this course invites a rich and rewarding exploration of both watercolor and monoprint. Join us for an inspiring journey that celebrates artistic expression and the thrill of discovery.

  • Open to all levels.
The class will meet in our lower-level studio.
There is a $20 materials fee to the instructor.
    No class on 11/1.
