Class #360: For the Love of Clay, Sculpture with Debra Balchen

Session | Available

A hands-on sculptural journey into the expressive language of clay. Working from a live model, students explore form, structure, proportion and surface while developing both technical skill and a personal artistic voice.

Sculpture is not just learned—it is experienced. In real time, your eye develops. Your hands understand. Through individual guidance, observation and focused studio time, students learn to see the human form more clearly and translate what they see into clay.

The class welcomes beginners as well as experienced artists. Each student is encouraged to work at their own pace in a supportive, relaxed and inspiring studio environment.

Course fee includes

•  A fresh bag of clay
•  An armature

•  Use of class tools

•  Printed handouts

•  Firing of your finished sculpture after it has dried completely
