The Alzheimer’s/ Dementia Training course provides information and instruction on how to provide support and care for a person with dementia. Participants receive basic information on the types and causes of dementia and practical tips on managing challenging behaviors associated with this disease. Successful graduates of this course will demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for delivering person-centered care for an individual with dementia.
