HSI CPR/AED CERTIFICATION is a hybrid course that allows an individual to learn at their own pace and time the different foundational knowledge needed to respond to and manage a cardiac or respiratory arrest until emergency medical services arrive. A link to the online portion will be sent out to students two weeks before the in-person section; The online portion will take approximately two hours to complete.  The in-person section will review and then test the different skills covered in the online portion to include choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. Students will be able to obtain a valid CPR certification for two years upon completion of the class.
