The Tank & Reel Club is dedicated to all things black and white film photography and darkroom printing. The class will explore camera use, film development, quality negative, exhibit-quality darkroom prints. Teaching and critique will match the students’ level of experience. Whether you are printing from your first roll of film or you are an advanced photographer your goal will be a cohesive portfolio. Tuesday evenings are printing sessions and Thursday evenings feature discussions, demonstrations, and guests. Monthly workshops and field trips in the DC Metro area will inspire new content. The Club hopes to build a community that loves cameras and film photography.
