Learn the fundamentals of great storytelling: how to find and refine stories that capture the viewers’ imaginations; establish rapport with characters; envision and compose documentary images; and select equipment. During the period between sessions, students will shoot an assignment which will be reviewed and critiqued during the final session which will also include instruction on editing, sequencing, writing project narratives, and seeking publication.
