Students, ages 7 to 10, will enjoy a fun dance class that incorporates a classical ballet barre and center along with stretches and creative exploration of movement. The second portion of the class will teach students a rotation of jazz, contemporary, and modern dance choreography. There will be an emphasis on combination memorization with correct musicality, advanced technical concepts such as maintaining proper placement and alignment, and class etiquette. Students must be 7-10 years old by the start of the session to register.
Class uniform: leotard or tight- fitting fitness shirt with tights or biker shorts; ballet shoes recommended; long hair secured tightly back from face in bun or short ponytail.
