Explore chalk pastel and gouache painting. Each medium is vivid, opaque and luscious on its own or combined. Materials and techniques will be discussed while students learn about the masters. The course will have ongoing critiques and demonstrations. Students may work from life or their own photographs. Still life, portraits, figures, and landscapes are all appropriate subjects. All levels are welcome.
