Designing with Stringer Sheets Workshop

Make a beautiful plate or bowl using design elements made from 1 mm stringers. Students will make a stringer sheet, placing stringers in various design patterns on clear glass, on the first day, Friday, August 9. On Saturday, August 10, students will learn different techniques for cutting up the stringer sheets to make different designs and used to create a final design in a plate or bowl. One example is this bowl that incorporates a “Missoni” dress design. On Sunday August 11 students will continue finishing projects and prepare for final firing. Supplies included.

Everyone who attends Open Studio or participates in an AGC workshop or class, must be current with vaccinations per CDC guidelines.
