Experience the thrill of using a steel rake to create patterns in glass at high temperature. In Session 1, students will be introduced to glass combing techniques and create a blank composed of strips of glass. In Session 2, the glass is heated to 1700 degrees to make it soft enough to be combed. Session 3 is for coldworking the cooled glass and slumping into a mold if desired. Students must have glass fusing experience to register for this workshop. Info: michelerubinglass@outlook.com. Minimum age: 14; 3 sessions.
