Create big art with small glass pieces in this modern adaptation of classical Mosaic artistry. Students can choose to create either abstract or realistic imagery using fusible glass “tesserae” with glass powder/frit as “grout.”  In session 1, explore techniques to learn how to establish image flow by positioning tesserae and by incorporating use of negative design space. In session 2, complete your main project. Projects will be approximately 8 x 8 or 10 x 6 inches. Create your own design or choose from available class designs. Workshop is suitable for beginners.
