Expressive Portraiture

What makes a portrait memorable? A likeness is important, but pictorial expression is at its core. You will learn how to observe and express the head accurately and with emotion. Gesture, planar structure, anatomy, color/value, and composition will be discussed in detail. You may draw or paint. All levels. More info and supply list: ken.conley@gmail.com; 703.217.1039.
