Painting with Pan Pastels Workshop 5/3
Workshop | Registration opens 2/4/26 10:00 AM EST
Learn to paint with chalk pan pastels, a more vibrant pastel in cake (not stick) form. Pan pastels are applied dry with sponges in a variety of sizes and shapes, or with brushes. Unlike pastel sticks, pan pastels are very easy to store, take up very little space in your studio, and have no dust to emit into the air or on your fingers. They can be used on their own or as the underpainting for a stick pastel painting. More importantly, unlike stick pastels that can be blended only by layering, pan pastels can be mixed with each other in their individual pans. All levels. Info: annwallaceart@aol.com. Minimum age 16. 1 session.
