Children need ballet shoes and tap shoes (or at least socks and tap shoes)- with leggings and a shirt they can easily move in or a ballet leotard and tights.  No Disney outfits or things they could trip on.  Hair out of face.  Bring water bottle.  Starting with a ballet class and switching to tap half way thru allows the children to practice different principles of each dance.  Students will learn ballet basics like tondues, frappes, and degas as well as tap techniques such as brushes, shuffles, and more.  Kids learn to take turns, interact with each other, do choreography; games are incorporated into the curriculum to make learning fun!
