Picasso says, “good artists borrow, great artists steal.” He’s an excellent example of someone who has taken a famous painting and reworked the composition, subject, and color to make it something entirely different. What can we learn from reinventing an old master painting? After selecting our masterpiece to reinvent, we’ll devise a plan to change the painting to fit with our time period and painting style.
