This course offers a clear and approachable introduction to the fundamental elements of music, ideal for those with little or no prior experience. Through listening, writing, and hands-on exercises, students learn the basics of reading and understanding music—notation, rhythm, scales, chords, and more. The course explores both classical and popular styles and helps students apply theory in creative and practical ways, including short composition projects and simple analysis.
