Pottery Beginning Wheel

Lean the art of throwing a pot on the pottery wheel. During this class we will be throwing a bowl on the pottery wheel, generally students will have time to make two to three bowls. Bowls will dry and student contacted for next steps and firing dates.

Tools are available for use during classes and on open work days.

Deborah Clarkson
Deb Clarkson is our current pottery instructor, teaching basic instructions for clay using coil, slab, and wheel methods. She has been working with clay for 10 plus years having attended classes in St. Charles, IL.
Deb has been a participant at MLOTA learning mosaics stained glass, drawing and painting. She is always excited to encourage others and learn new techniques in the arts.
