This 21-hour Zero to Three Growing Brain:  From Birth to Five Years Old training can be taken as a 7-class series. Throughout the series, participants will understand the key factors that affect brain development and how to support healthy brain development overall. Participants will understand how communication and language develop in the first five years, the brain's role in development of these skills, and how to support them. Participants will explore the roles of relationships and attachment in social-emotional development. Participants will learn about basic brain anatomy, key factors that influence behavior, and effective strategies for helping children with these difficulties. Participants will also learn the stages and types of play that unfold in early childhood as well as the role of the brain in this process.

Michele Hall

Michele Hall, Educational Trainer at MMH Early Childhood Training and Consulting LLC, holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. In her over 20 plus years in Early Childhood, Michele has worked as a Training and Curriculum Specialist, Director, and College Adjunct.  Michele serves as a PDS for the Council for Professional Recognition, an approved trainer for the Maryland Department of Education, a certified Zero to Three Trainer, Pre-K reliable CLASS Observer, Maryland Accreditation validator, and Pyramid Model Trainer/Coach.  In her free time Michele enjoys spending time walking on the beach searching for sea glass.  This year she is serving as a Board member for the Maryland Osprey and Nature Festival in Calvert County when she is learning cool facts about Ospreys and other amazing wildlife that live on or near the bay.
