Kids Company B, Ages 8–11, Our twelve-week classes are designed for students who crave a more in-depth acting experience. Working with the same teaching artist and ensemble of students for a full semester creates a supportive environment where the class can bond as a trusted community.
In Kids Company, you will learn theatre vocabulary and build foundation skills in the actor's toolbox of body, voice, and imagination. Emphasis is placed on working as a team, developing expressive communication skills, and learning how to commit to imagined circumstances. Working with a script, the class will culminate in a production.
During rehearsal, you will rehearse your parts and receive individual coaching, play ensemble games to build your teamwork as a class, and develop your expressive theatre skills through drama games and exercises. You will have homework in-between rehearsals.

Meeting at Templeton School: Saturdays-11am-3pm:
1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2 (No classes on 3/7 and 3/14 for Spring Break)
Meeting at NCT:
Fridays: 4/10, 4/17, 5/1 - 4pm-7:30pm
Saturday, 5/2 11:15am - Meeting at NCT for rehearsal, then walked over to Templeton, and back for show. Will remain with staff until showtime at 4:30pm
Performances: 5/2 and 5/3
*Note - Virtual rehearsals or in-person rehearsals may be called based on show needs. Please make every effort to be at all rehearsals. No conflicts will be approved for evening rehearsals or performances in April.
