The Teen Performance Intensive Program (TPIP) is an advanced education program offering unique opportunities for students ages 13 - 18 to receive superior, comprehensive, musical theater training from a dedicated and caring professional faculty. These are intensive study programs in musical theater for students who plan to attend college with a major in the performing arts. This program also instills the values of teamwork, leadership, and other transferable life skills to shape these ambitious students into phenomenal artists, professionals, and individuals.
TPIP is an audition based program. Students that have participated in the past will not be required to audition.
Tales & Treats Theater Company
Teen Performance Intensive Program (TPIP) students Teen Performance Intensive Program students run their own theater company, Tales and Treats. Students take part in a children’s theater piece at the end of the fall semester, and develop their very own TPIP Cabaret to present at the end of the spring semester. They perform in the shows, serve as the creative team, and also work alongside Technical Theater and Design Program students to produce family-friendly, short-length musicals that are free of charge for children at the Gargaro Theater in the West End.

TPIP Attendance Policy
Students participating in any Tier of TPIP must attend a minimum number of classroom hours (approx. 80% of scheduled classes). Failure to meet this requirement WILL result in suspension from the program the following semester, and an audition process will be enforced to be considered for reinstatement after suspension is served. This policy does not apply to religious holidays, doctor’s excuses, or other extenuating circumstances.
Required number of minimum classroom hours per tier:
Platinum – 190 hrs.
Gold – 140 hrs.
Silver – 95 hrs.
Bronze – 45 hrs.
Bronze Flex – 90 hrs.
