Teen Modern Dance

The Teen Modern Dance students will learn to focus on individual expression, balance, direction, and momentum. Dancers in this class will learn to move freely through space and discover their own physical capabilities to showcase the emotional spirit of the music through their bodies and movements.
There is no prerequisite for this class.
As always we ask that you wear proper dance shoes and clothes for all dance classes.
BALLET: Female identifying individuals should wear a leotard, tights, and ballet shoes (any color). Male identifying individuals should wear a white t-shirt and black dance pants or sweat pants. Any person with long hair should have their hair pulled back off their face.
JAZZ: All Jazz students should wear jazz shoes. Female identifying individuals should wear a leotard and tights. Male identifying individuals should wear a t-shirt with jazz or sweat pants.
Dance belts must be worn as needed.
