Jennie Farrant
Jennie comes from a family of educators and knew she wanted to be a teacher from an early age. After teaching first grade for two years, Jennie realized she had a heart for the students who needed extra support and went back to school to become certified in special education. Jennie later received her Master of Education in Reading Instruction and Reading Endorsement. However, it was not until her training with the Orton-Gillingham Academy in 2016 that she felt equipped to support the struggling reader. Since then, Jennie has been on a mission to grow as an OG practitioner and train teachers and tutors in the OG approach. Jennie helped start an OGA-accredited instructional program for dyslexic students in Orlando, Florida. She is a Fellow-in-Training with the Orton Gillingham Academy (OGA), certified Multisensory Math Practitioner through Key Learning Center, and teacher trainer for ReadSource.
Sarah Null
Sarah Null, M.Ed., specializes in supporting neurodiverse learners. Sarah is a Fellow with the Orton-Gillingham Academy; she has spent the past 14 years supporting and remediating dyslexic and dysgraphic learners and is now also able to provide training for teachers and tutors who want to learn and master the Orton-Gillingham approach. Sarah enjoys working with students of all ages and helps with everything from letter learning and early reading to the synthesis of information into research papers and literary analysis. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with two very active teenagers, one very lazy dog, and her husband, as well as reading and playing tennis.
