The Founding Fathers patterned part of the U.S. Constitution on these two governments; however, they made some important, interesting, and positive changes when they set up the federal government.  In this class we will discuss various aspects of these changes, especially their relevance for the U.S. today.  

  • Bonnie, teaches history at Glendale Community College and joins us at RISE for Foreign Policy and the Middle East classes. Her Ph.D. focused on U.S. policy in the Middle East, and she published a book on a CIA plot to overthrow the Syrian government in 1957.
