We will discuss the similarities and differences between the status of women in the ancient world (pre-civilization, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Middle Ages) and the status of women in the U.S. today. 

  • Bonnie, teaches history at Glendale Community College and joins us at RISE for Foreign Policy and the Middle East classes. Her Ph.D. focused on U.S. policy in the Middle East, and she published a book on a CIA plot to overthrow the Syrian government in 1957.
