Clouds, Southwest, and Landscapes - All Mediums

The Arts | Available (Membership Required)

Clouds are beautiful and varied in type and shape. This class will concentrate on producing paintings of clouds in a sky with a very low horizon line of mountains. You may use any medium you wish; watercolor, oils, acrylic, pastel, gouache. If you are new with the medium you are using, Allen with help you one-on-one with techniques, if asked. You will learn techniques to form different types of clouds and cloud shapes. Also, you will learn how to add highlights and shadows to your clouds. You will also learn what a graded wash is and how to lay down a graded wash for your sky. The number of paintings/pastels you finish depends on how quick or deliberate you are in painting. You can produce any size of painting you wish.
