  • Joyce started her professional career in the public accounting sector as an accountant and tax preparer.  As an avid volunteer and philanthropist, she changed her focus to the nonprofit sector and co-founded a nonprofit in 2014.  Since leaving that nonprofit in 2021, she saw a need to educate people, especially the older adult population, about the financial scams and help them protect themselves and their hard-earned assets. In August 2021, Joyce founded R.O.S.E. Resources/Outreach to Safeguard the Elderly with the mission to prevent the financial exploitation and defrauding of the older adults through advocacy and education.

R.O.S.E. delivers an effective Fraud Awareness and Protection Program to older adults so they will be aware of the types of frauds and scams that are prevalent and dangerous to them. In addition, we give the older adults resources, tips, and tools so they can better protect themselves and their hard-earned assets. For more information on R.O.S.E., visit the website at https://www.roseadvocacy.org.
