History of the View-Master

Social Science/History | Available (Membership Required)

Perhaps you remember peering through and clicking a 3-D View-Master with its circular picture reel cards when you were a kid.  The View-Master had a diverse history after being publicly introduced at the 1939 New York World's Fair.  It entertained tourists, trained Navy and Air Force personnel during World War II, educated medical and art history students, taught youngsters about U.S. history, and sold cars. You will get to look through various View-Master viewers from the past.

This is a 2 Part series. Dr. Blaker reviews the class so if you missed the 1st class you can still attend.
