Ron will talk about the early history and popularization of Rock & Roll Music. During his career he had personal direct music connections with several of the most prominent stars of the early rock era including Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings, Ben E. King, The Drifters, The Kingsmen, Alan Freed and others. He has many interesting stories
to share with you about his experiences. Ron was also a “studio musician” (“session musician”) and helped create approximately 25 early rock recordings for two prominent record companies. Several of these recorded songs were released to the public and shortly thereafter became national or regional hits. These songs are now included in more than 40 different “Oldies” or “Legends” albums, CD’s and music collections that are still being sold by record and music
companies in more than 15 countries worldwide.
