Monet was one of the greatest French Impressionist. He developed a new style of expressing the beauty. Monet was also the only French Impressionist who continued producing paintings in this style all his life. We will look at the artistic background he lived in and his life. In this talk we will cover his unconventional life and paintings in detail.

Allen Reamer

Allen Reamer, Allen - Has produced art and taught studio art and art history for most of his life.  He was fortunate to come from generations of artists.  His undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate education was in studio art and art history.  Allen has taught high school to graduate-level classes.  He has been recognized by various organizations for his teaching and artwork.  He has been active  in local and national art organizations, including representing D.C. art educators at the national level for a decade. He teaches over 175 studio art classes and over 230 art history classes.
