Native American music possesses a uniquely haunting sound described as "touching the soul." Laura will demonstrate many of the melodic/rhythmical elements of the music of North America's indigenous peoples.

Perkins, Laura Lee , BME, MS  - has authored 18 books, published 150+ articles, and recorded 5 professional Native American flute CDs and 3 audio-books.  Recipient of 14 grants and 5 artist residencies, Laura is a "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Hope & Miracles" author. She teaches 50+ classes annually to 5,000+ people in ME, MA, NY, and AZ.
