A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. Turn a smooth rock into a piece of artwork. It's a fun and relaxing activity for ALL ages. No prior drawing experience necessary. Rocks, tools and paint provided.
Phyllis Gerner
Gerner, Phyllis - is a Ventana Lakes Board Member, and a volunteer at the Sunrise Mountain Library and at the City of Peoria. She is involved in many clubs and activities at Ventana Lakes yet is willing to teach craft classes in her spare time and calls it therapy. While raising a family, working full time in Corporate America and getting her Bachelor’s Degree at night, Phyllis found time to hold monthly craft classes during her lunch hour. Now that she has been retired for the past 10 years, she willingly shares her craft ideas and enjoys seeing others having fun and creating something special. Phyllis says no experience is needed and says "there are no mistakes, only personal variations." Just come with a smile, a willingness to learn, and make new friends.
