Ink, Watercolor Flowers

The Arts | Registration opens 1/5/2026 12:00 AM MST (Arizona)

Flowers are beautiful and varied. We will produce a variety of ink and watercolor paintings with individual flowers, and groups of flowers. This course takes a step- by-step approach to drawing and painting flowers with ink and watercolor. Ink and watercolor are easier to use than watercolor, oils or acrylics. Whether you have drawn flowers or not, you will be able to produce beautiful colorful flowers using techniques and procedures that you will learn in this class. You will learn the steps in to produce works of art using ink and watercolor. We will review terms, concepts, and types of brushes. You will also learn different techniques. The majority of the rest of the course will be spent in learning to draw and paint specific types of flowers. You will be given step-by-step instruction and one-on-one help if you wish.
