Flowers are beautiful and varied. This course takes a step-by-step approach to drawing and painting flowers with ink and watercolor. Whether you have drawn flowers or not, you will be able to produce beautiful colorful flowers using techniques and procedures that you will learn in this class. You will learn the steps in to produce works of art using ink and watercolor. You will also learn different watercolor techniques. The majority of the rest of the course will be spent in learning to draw and paint specific types of flowers.
Supplies You Need
Thin line black waterproof pen
Set of watercolors
2 plastic water containers
140lb or heavier watercolor paper
#2 pencil
vinyl eraser
soft paper towels [blue paper towels found in an auto supply store or Walmart]
medium round pointed watercolor brush
round sponge
natural sponge
Mr. Clean eraser.
Allen Reamer
Allen Reamer, Allen - Has produced art and taught studio art and art history for most of his life. He was fortunate to come from generations of artists. His undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate education was in studio art and art history. Allen has taught high school to graduate-level classes. He has been recognized by various organizations for his teaching and artwork. He has been active in local and national art organizations, including representing D.C. art educators at the national level for a decade. He teaches over 175 studio art classes and over 230 art history classes.
