Neurographic art is a simple way to work with the subconscious mind through drawing.   This creative method stimulates new neural pathways by combining art and psychology.  The art technique was created by Russian psychologist creativity entrepreneur and architect Pavel Piskarev in 2014.  Many people find it meditative and relaxing to do.  Neurographic art really helps clear your mind and it is for all ages.  Each individual artwork is as unique as the artist who created it.  Come join the fun.   Gel pens, markers and colored pencils will be used to color in your artwork and enhance your design with zentangle patterns.  I will supply the paper, patterns, gel pens, markers and colored pencils or feel free to bring your own.

Phyllis Gerner

Gerner,  Phyllis - is a Ventana Lakes Board Member, and a volunteer at the Sunrise Mountain Library and at the City of Peoria.  She is involved in many clubs and activities at Ventana Lakes yet is willing to teach craft classes in her spare time and calls it therapy.  While raising a family, working full time in Corporate America and getting her Bachelor’s Degree at night, Phyllis found time to hold monthly craft classes during her lunch hour.  Now that she has been retired for the past 10 years, she willingly shares her craft ideas and enjoys seeing others having fun and creating something special.  Phyllis says no experience is needed and says "there are no mistakes, only personal variations." Just come with a smile, a willingness to learn, and make new friends.
