The Foundational Reading class helps young adults (18-25) and adults over 25 improve their reading and writing skills. Students learn sentence building, grammar, new words, and ways to understand what they read. The class also helps with sounding out words, growing vocabulary, and staying motivated to read. Students can earn a certificate for their hard work and progress!
New students must complete a CASAS Evaluation (assessment) prior to being accepted into a WLC Reading Class to determine their reading level. Please contact Melody Brown (202) 984-0017 to schedule a CASAS Evaluation.
- Tuition: The tuition may be paid in full at registration or with a $25 deposit and the balance in installments. Full payment must be made no later than the 1st day of the final month of class.
